Students must carry their identity card with them. They have to produce the card on demand by authorities of the Institute.

Students are required to attend at least 75% of lectures and practical classes.

Students are required to pay Institute dues in time. Late fee will be charged by the institute and the university.

Students must abide by the order of the Director, their teachers and relevant staff.

Any absence from the institute has to be supported by an application. It is necessary to submit an application for absence of more than 3 days(for reason of ill health, a medical certificate is essential) duly endorsed by the parents.

Students are required to manifest decent behavior while interacting with others. * Consumption or even possession of/liquor /drug/intoxicant is highly intolerable and may invite disciplinary action.

Participation in agitation, undesirable activities, unhealthy propaganda or any such activity which is against the interest of students community and the institution, is not permitted.

Students shall observe all safety precautions while working. Institute will not be responsible for any injury or loss sustained within the institute. However first aid will be provided immediately.

Fines if ever imposed are only to improve/ enforce discipline. Accrued amount is spent according. * Students shall abide by the library rules and utilize library facilities to its optimum.

A student is not eligible to receive any refund of the tuition fees and the other charges paid for the year. If a student is found guilty of beach of discipline violation of code of conduct within or outside the jurisdiction of the institute, the Director may according to nature and gravity of the offence. Suspend him from attending
classes or Disqualify such students from appearing is in the next incoming examination or rusticate such students, or Expel such a student from the institute and remove his / her name from the register of enrolled students.
ACADEMIC COMMITTEE:
Academic Committee is dedicated for the academic uplift of the students. The committee is responsible for day to day running of classes, discipline, organizing seminars and guest lectures on important topics through experts from industries and eminent people from academic institutions & universities etc. Faculty members and students benefit immensely by the working of academic committee.
DRESS CODE:
DITM believes that a dress code helps in creating a sense of uniformity among the students who come from different cultural and economic backgrounds. DITM students are required to follow the dress code while pursuing their studies in the campus. Students, however, are required to wear uniform only for two days a week.
ATTENDANCE:
Students are required to attend all the classes however as per university rules minimum 75% attendance is mandatory. Any student not complying with the minimum laid down percentage of attendance may be debarred from appearing in the university examination.
