Management Activity


Budding managers at DITM, Department of Management are provided platform to show their leadership qualities. An activity focusing on leadership and non verbal communication was conducted by the Department of Management Studies on 29 , Jan 2016. The students got a chance to exhibit the ability of leading effectively and show their leadership skills.
Winners were given prizes and admired by the faculty members for their performance.






Waves of excitement and enthusiasm had engulfed the 2nd & 3rd year students of BBA and 2nd  year students of MBA of DITM on 28th October 2015 who left no stone upturned to make the fresher’s party a grand success . This is a well cultured custom in DITM since the start of the institute.
The Title of the Fresher party was “Rock & Roll”, which signifies unlimited enjoyment. This Party was a platform to flaunt the zeal and enjoyment of various cultures of the world that are enjoyed at DITM .
Ravikant, student of MBA I year got the title of Mr. Fresher and Gunjan Darastudent of BBA I year won the title of Ms. Fresher.






Students of DELHI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT of MBA-I semester and BBA -I semester had a very insight plant visit to the probiotic drink plant Yakult Danone India on 6th Oct, 2015 in Sonepat. The students and faculty of Management were exposed to the work culture and corporate environment of the facto

AMAZING......SHOWCASE OF TALENT BY DITM students inCOLLAGE Making Competition organized by Department of Management studies, DITM.

Students were given topics like Prime Minister Narender Modi, women Empowerment, cricket- Favorite Sports of India.

The Students Artistic performances exhibited creativity at its best and Best three teams were selected and awarded by prizes.One person from each team was selected on nthe basis of creativity & dedication and awarded by a prize.

Carrom a "strike and pocket" table game was played by the students of Management studies on 18th September,2015. Games don't need to be overtly academic to be educational, however,Just by virtue of playing this game the main motive was to  foster the students ability to focus and to develop in them some important social skills, such as communicating verbally, sharing, waiting, and enjoying interaction with others which would ultimately help them to master problem solving as well as cognitive skills. Besides this , students would also be able to increase their logical reasoning power.



Students of department of management studies  were given an opportunity to show their Team skills by playing a bat-and-ball sport i.e. Cricket on 18th September,2015 . Besides, being a fun activity, It’s a great way to learn to cope with winning or losing. As the game lasts for several hours, and within that time students worked with the team in a cooperative manner to develop and initiate game strategies and win the match & developed in them team spirit. MBA  as well as BBA Students learnt cooperation and other social skills, while building a sense of pride and accomplishment when their team wins. The students also learnt a lesson that “Victory is all the sweeter when shared”.



Department of Management Studies organized a competition based on seminar presentation for all the students of MBA as well as BBA on 8th February, 2016. Initially, the key speaker was Ms. Venus Arora (Faculty, Management Department) who gave the presentation on the topic “Effective Public Speaking”. The main focus of the presentation was to render some crucial strategies which can be put upon for effective public speaking. The idea behind this presentation was to enable the Students to learn about the do’s and Dont’s of Public speaking.

This Seminar basically focused on the presentation and communication skills of the students. Department of Management has provided platform to students to show their skills. Students got the chance to expand their Knowedge, personality and communication skills. Students gave presentation on various topics like Attitude, Henry Fayol’s Principles of Administrative management, Perception and Personality etc. All students performed well and put their best efforts to develop their skills and Personality. All students performed very nicely but judges had to decide top two positions among all the students. Megha of BBA 2nd year secured 1st position and Avinash from MBA 1st year secured 2nd position in the competition. Not only this, other participants were also awarded with the prizes. The Department of Management is always ready to take such initiatives for student for  more corporate exposure.






SEBI's Financial Literacy workshop

A Workshop was conducted for the students in the department of management studies on 6th April, 2016 on Financial Literacy. Dr. Amit Gupta, Assistant Professor, Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, Delhi was the representatives of SEBI who talked about some of the essential concepts regarding savings, investments, securities and made the students aware about the skills and knowledge that allows an individual to make informed and effective decisions with all of their financial resources striving towards money management, financial planning.
