Industry Visits

Hands-on experience of business and industrial realities is provided for students through the Industrial visits Programme. The Bharti Telecom, IFFCO Anola, Reliance Digital, MetaDesign Solution, Caparo, Atlas, Sonipat refinery, BHEL Haridawar are the few who have extended their cooperation. As a part of the curricular activities the students visit these industries under the guidance of faculty members.


Besides these, the students are also involved in the local study tours to the nearby Industries during the 3rd, 5th & 7th Semesters to have a practical knowledge about various functions of the industries. Two faculty members and A Training & Placement Officer also accompany them during such study tours. The institute also provides necessary funds for Long Study Tours to various industries all over India which is limited to 3000 Kms from our campus (Gannur-Sonipat) to gain some professional Knowledge in their field of study. Medium Study tours are also arranged during Winter Vacation within the area 300 Kms. in and around NCR.

Internship

The summer/vocational training is part of the curriculum, the main objective being to give the engineering students a scope to supplement their class room knowledge and have wide exposure to active industrial life and environment before they step into the real professional world. Every student has to take a minimum of 60/45 days Practical Training. Unless a student satisfies this requirement he is not permitted to sit in his final examinations.

Placement and Training Cell, DITM arranges the Summer Training of Pre-Final year Engineering Students of Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Mechanical Engineering and MBA during the summer vacation in the months of June and July every year for a period of Six/Eight weeks in different reputed organizations all over India. 

The  Industrial  Projects  and  Visits  to  different  Industrial  Organizations  are arranged  from  Second  year  onwards  for  all  the  Engineering  and  Management Students, mostly in the months of January and February, or immediately after the completion of their course curriculum.
