Internship
The summer/vocational training is part of the curriculum, the main objective being to give the engineering students a scope to supplement their class room knowledge and have wide exposure to active industrial life and environment before they step into the real professional world. Every student has to take a minimum of 60/45 days Practical Training. Unless a student satisfies this requirement he is not permitted to sit in his final examinations.
Placement and Training Cell, DITM arranges the Summer Training of Pre-Final year Engineering Students of Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Mechanical Engineering and MBA during the summer vacation in the months of June and July every year for a period of Six/Eight weeks in different reputed organizations all over India.
The Industrial Projects and Visits to different Industrial Organizations are arranged from Second year onwards for all the Engineering and Management Students, mostly in the months of January and February, or immediately after the completion of their course curriculum.
